What’s New...
|
September 2009
It has been
a busy summer at PPH Farms. A fun filled summer full of shows
that included cattle penning, local exhibitions, gymkhana and
Miniature Horses. Brittany made her showing debut. She did a
fantastic job and we are so very proud of her.

We had to
say a few difficult good-byes at the end of the summer. My
sister, Jessica left for Saskatoon, SK where she will be
workings towards her Master's and PhD at the University of
Saskatchewan. We wish her the best of luck and miss her
very much. Christmas can't come soon enough, right Jess? We
also packed my mother up and sent her back to work. She was a
familiar face over the summer helping out with the kids and
being a real horse show Mom! Luckily she's only in New
Brunswick so she'll be back to visit.
We also bid
farewell to our flock of 70 ewes. With our recent move we are
limited for space so will be taking a temporary leave from the
sheep. We have hopes of getting back into them in the future
when we have the facilities to properly accommodate them.
Glenn
willing volunteered to take all my sister's belongings and her
car out to Saskatchewan. What a nice brother-in-law.... or
did he have other motives? Glenn returned from Saskatchewan
with a new to us Barrett aluminum trailer and 13 horses.
Check out our Sales Pages to see what we brought back.

Sophie had
x-rays of her hips and elbows taken late August. We are
eagerly awaiting the results and have high hopes of breeding
her in November for her first litter of puppies.
Our fingers
are crossed that the weather holds out and lets us finish
construction on our barns before the snow starts to fly.
