Pep originally came to us
from the West. She was started at a very young age and shown in
working cow horse competitions where she faired very well placing 2nd
out of a group of 15. She was brought back to the Maritimes where
she had several months of reining training. She then competed in the
3 year old Snaffle Bit Futurity followed by the Derby as a 5 year
old. Pep is our go to mare, she does it all. One day we’ll take her
penning, the next day we’ll hook her in the wagon to take the family
out, and the following day Glenn could use her to haul young colts
around. She has earned Glenn well over $3500 in unofficial earnings
in 2008 and continues to be unstoppable in the penning ring. This
mare will go anywhere and do anything. Pep is bred to High Brow Red
for a 2010 foal.

Rosie came from Illinois -
she has been a broodmare for most of her life. She had a month of
training as a late two year old but due to periodic unsoundness has
not been used since. We think she is a fantastic baby producer - she
has given us three fantastic mares that are very pretty to look at
and have superb disposition to match. Rosie is bred to High Brow Red
for a 2010 foal.

"JUDY
LYNNE"
BLUE RIDGE JUDY LYNNE
Bay Mare, May 15, 1994
AMHR #214884A AMHA # A 66032
Height: 29.50 inches
|
Judy is a very
special little mare. The day I called home and told Glenn I wanted
to buy a Miniature horse for Brittany, he nearly divorced me on the
spot but with some persuasion he gave in. We haven’t regretted out
decision since. Judy Lynne is a gift. She is the kindest and most
patient little mare. Brittany started playing around with her before
she turned two, Judy Lynne was cautious, patient, and forgiving with
Brittany. She has taught Brittany so many important equine lessons.
It is our goal to give Judy Lynne the best possible life for her
remaining days and hope that both of our children will have the
opportunity to enjoy her.

"MERRYLEGS"
Grey Pony
Mare, June 1994
Height 12 hands
|
We were
very blessed to have been able to purchase Merry. We spent a
long time looking for a pony like her and are so glad to have
finally found her. Merry is a calm and quiet pony to work
around but still has some spunk under saddle. Brittany just
loves her dearly and spends alot of time trotting Merry at full
speed around the ring. She has willingly agreed that when she
grows out of Merry her sister, Jenna, can start riding her -
looks like Merry is here to stay!

"BABY"
Norweigan Fjord Mare - May 2005
Baby has lived in a herd her whole life and had
little human contact until recently. Despite Baby's minimal handling
she is a sweetheart and is very eager to trust. She had a beautiful
foal out of an imported stallion from Norway, Bakken's Marius, in
2009 and is bred back the same way for 2010. We hope to have Baby
riding and driving by next summer and possibly even matched up to
work as a team with her half sister Belle.
"BELLE"
Norweigan Fjord Mare - March 2005
Belle has lived in a herd her whole life and had
little human contact until recently. Despite Belle's minimal
handling she is a sweetheart and is very eager to trust. She had a
beautiful foal out of an imported stallion, Bakken's Marius, in 2009
and is bred back the same way for 2010. We hope to have Belle riding
and driving by next summer and possibly even matched up to work as a
team with her half sister Baby.
"MARTINA"
Buckskin Pony
Mare, May 2004
Height 12'1 hands
Marti is a fantastic riding
and driving pony. She's
been out on the trails; over ditches, crossed water puddles, past
heavy equipment - she takes everything in strides and doesn't bat an
eye. She has an easy going disposition about everything. She is
very patient and well mannered. This mare is straight forward and
accepting of everything around her.
"MACGREGOR"
Tidal's Who's Your Daddy
Black Gelding, May 22, 2003
AMHR #238742A
Height: 31.50 inches
|
MacGregor isn't
quite a mare but he's part of the crew. This little guy has a
bundle of silly quirks but he's fantastic in cart. He has taught
our daughter Brittany how to drive - he is patient, calm, and VERY
VERY forgiving. It's a common occurance if you come in the yard to
see him hooked in the cart with the kids driving him around. He has
an abundance of show experience and we are so pleased to have found
him. |
